The PROTECTED (PROTECTion against Endocrine Disruptors) Innovative Training Network (ITN) held its kick-off meeting on February 6th and 7th, 2017 in the Science Park of the University of Valencia. PROTECTED aims to train a new generation of 15 creative, entrepreneurial and innovative Early Stage Researchers with the expertise to develop protective capabilities against Endocrine Disruptors.
The meeting was chaired by the project coordinating institution (Queen’s University Belfast) and was attended by beneficiaries from 8 countries including Northern Ireland, Scotland, Norway, France, Chile, Belgium, The Netherlands and Spain.
The PROTECTED project is funded by the prestigious Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions ITN programme, an initiative by the European Commission to foster academic-industrial collaboration in the frame of an innovative and entrepreneurial PhD training programme.
